Motion + 3D
Interfaces.
Real-time 3D and motion on the web is a small craft niche. We build product configurators, hero scenes, shader-driven backgrounds and transition systems that survive a real performance budget. We pair this work with the rest of the surface so it ships, not just demos.
What we deliver
- Three.js + React Three Fiber product scenes
- GLSL shaders for hero and product surfaces
- Motion systems and signature transitions
- Configurators and interactive 3D viewers
- Performance budgeting on low-end devices
Stack we reach for
How we engage
- Hero scene or one-off feature (3–6 weeks)
- Configurator build (8–14 weeks)
- Motion system as part of a larger product engagement
FAQ
- Will a Three.js or WebGL hero hurt my Core Web Vitals?
- Not if it's engineered with a performance budget. We design real-time 3D against the same LCP, INP and CLS targets as the rest of the site. If the budget doesn't allow for the scene we want, we cut the scene, not the metrics.
- How do you handle mobile devices and older laptops?
- Two-tier rendering. A full-quality scene for capable devices, a stripped fallback (often a static image or a much simpler shader) for the rest. We measure on real low-end Android, not on a top-spec MacBook.
- Can you build a product configurator on this stack?
- Yes. Configurators are one of the cases where Three.js and React Three Fiber really earn their keep. We pair them with a design system and a clean state model so the configurator can ship features without re-architecture.

We take on a handful of engagements per year. If this is the right fit, the fastest path is a short brief.
